PORTLAND CEMENT TYPE I/II

TXI TYPE I/II is a general purpose cement which meets ASTM C150 specifications for both Type I and Type II cements. Meets the low alkali requirments of this specifcations.

Uses: Pavements, foundations, sidewalks, walkways, patios, swimming pool deck, bridges, precast and prestressed concrete, tanks, water pipes, soil stabilization, and masonry units.

May be used for applications requiring moderate sulfate resistance

PORTLAND CEMENT TYPE III top

TXI Type III is a "high early strength" cement that provides high strengths at an early period. It meets ASTM C 150 specifications including the low alkali requirement.

Uses: When forms are to be removed as soon as possible or when the structure must be put into service quickly. In cold weather its use permits a reduction in the controlled curing period.

TXI PORTLAND TYPE IP (GRAY) top

TXI IP cement is an all-purpose cement for use in general concrete construction and meets ASTM C 595 specifications. It is an uniform blend of portland cement and a pozzolan. Type IP has better pumpability and significantly more sulfate resistance than Type I/II. It is equal to or better than Type V.

Uses: Concrete paving, and srtuctural concrete. Suggested for use in concrete with aggregates that may be deleteriously reactive.

TXI WHITE PORTLAND TYPE I top

TXI White Portland Type I cement is an architectural cement. It meets ASTM C 150 specifications including the low alkali requirments.

Uses: Architectural projects including pavements, sidewalks, concrete buildings, bridges, railway structures, tanks, and masonry units.

TXI MASONRY CEMENT TYPE N (GRAY) top

TXI Masonry Cement Type N is manufactured specially to meet the needs of the brick, block, and stone mason in the field. Reaches 750 psi @ 28 days when proportioned in accordance with ASTM C 270 requirements. Meets ASTM C 91
specifications.

Uses: Laying brick, block and stone, building or repairing chimneys, walls, planters and outdoor grills.
Also, for tuck pointing joints and stuccoing walls.

TXI Masonry Cement Type S, with twice the strength of Type N, is excellent for higher strength mortars where architectural and structural demands require a higher performance masonry
mortar. Reaches 1800 psi @ 28 days when proportioned in accordance with ASTM C 270 requirements. Meets ASTM C 91 specifications.

Uses: Laying brick, block and stone, building or repairing chimneys, walls, planters and outdoor grills. Also, for tuck pointing joints and stuccoing walls.

TXI WHITE MASON'S MIX top

TXI White Mason's Mix Type N meets ASTM C 91 specifications, and is an architectural masonry cement. It is to meet the needs of the mason in the field and provides excellent board life, workability, strength and uniformity of color. Meets or exceeds 750 psi @ 28 days when proportioned in accordance with ASTM C270 requirements.

Uses: Ideal for laying brick, concrete block or stone in construction of chimneys, walls, planters, outdoor grills, etc. Also used for pointing up or repairing existing masonry structures.

TXI WHITE MORTAR MIX TYPE S top

TXI White Mortar Mix Type S is a quality mixture of white cement and white sand. Meets the needs of the brick, block and stone mason without adding sand. Just add water and mix. Meets or exceeds ASTM C 387 when used as directed. Also complies with ASTM C 270 for type S mortar.

Uses: for laying brick, block, stone or glass block, and building or repairing chimneys, walls, planters and indoor grills. Also can be used for tuck pointing mortar joints and stuccoing walls.
