This product is a well graded sand that has been washed and sanitized by running it through a drying kiln at a high temperature. This product falls under CSI Master Format Section 02060 - Aggregate because it may be classified as a Fine Aggregate. Available in a 50 lb. bag.

TXI ZIP-CRETE 40 LB. BAG top

A quick setting, shrinkage-compensating, non-metallic, non-chloride grout mix (CSI #03930), ZIP-CRETE repairs cracks and chips in curbs, walks, floors and tanks. In many cases, it can be used without forms. Uses include pavement (CSI # 02750), sidewalks (CSI # 02775), walks, walkways, drives, driveways, curbs, ramps, tunnels, bridges, concrete pipes (CSI # 02610), decks, and concrete beams and columns. Reaches 1,000 psi at 8 hours and 4,000 psi at 24 hours. This product falls under CSI MasterFormat Section 02065 - Cement and Concrete because it may be classified as a Cement product; 02950 - Site Restoration and Rehabilitation; 02980 - Rigid Pavement Rehabilitation because it may be classified as a Joint Resealing product; 03930 - Concrete Rehabilitation because it may be classified as a Crack Repair. TXI ZIP-CRETE complies with applicable provisions of ASTM C 1107-99 Types B&C Non-Shrink Grout. Available in a 10 lb. or 40 lb. bag. The 40 pound bag covers approximate 3.6 sq. ft. 1 inch thick.

How To

  1. Clean & wet area to be patched, no standing water.

  2. Add water to mix to batter consistency, not soupy.

  3. Prime patch area by brushing into voids and edges.

  4. Use cold water to extend working time. Set time 6 - 8 min.

  5. Cover area and wet cure for 24 hours, minimum
