What is EZY RIP RAP?

Ezy Rip Rap is prepackaged concrete Mix with the highest quality of cement, sand and aggregate used in the control of soil erosion with the appearance of Roman Cobble Stone. Ezy Rip Rap can be configured in many ways to fit the individual job and pinned with rebar for added strength.

Ezy Rip Rap Helps Control Soil Erosion while following the natural contour of the land. Ezy Rip Rap is environmentally friendly with a biodegradable bag.

Ezy Rip Rap is cost effective. Specialized labor is minimized. Bags are easily placed without the need for costly pumps, forms or finishing equipment.
Ezy Rip Rap also comes in special mixes and with or without scrim. Scrim is a polyester reinforced bag which helps maintain the bags uniformity in areas of wave action or soil movement prior to hardening.

A Rip Rap constructed wall is built to last.  The wall is designed to flex with subsurface movement without damage to its structural integrity.  Proper construction will eliminate hydraulic pressure behind the wall and the use of a toe plate should reduce undermining on the front side.
In construction of the RIP RAP wall, geotextile fabric should be used behind the bags to prevent erosion and prevent grass and other plants from growing out of the wall.

For a vertical wall placing one bag on top of another and end to end in a “running bond” style, multiply the wall area in square feet by 1.50 for the number of bags required.
For approximate bag requirements for flat or sloped area with bags placed side by side and end to end, multiply the area in square feet by 0.60.
